MindLeaders ThirdForce will be officially known as MindLeaders from January. The rebrand is part of a bold new vision for the elearning and talent management company: “changing lives through learning”.
“It’s a name that quite simply stands for world-class elearning solutions” says Brendan O’Sullivan, Group CEO. “I’m very proud of a brand and a vision that encapsulate our core values of thought-leadership, innovation and a passion for what we do. We’ve now established offices in the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and South Africa which enable us to deliver the same quality products, solutions and excellent customer service the world over. We have a single global team with a distinct vision so the time is right to move forward with a single brand.”
A former CEO of Apple UK, Brendan founded ThirdForce in 2002 with serial entrepreneur, Pat McDonagh. The company acquired pioneering elearning companies including Electric Paper and Creative Learning Media to create a global specialist partner for digital literacy programmes and a leading provider of elearning to the UK hospitality and care sectors.
In 2007 ThirdForce added one of the world’s most extensive libraries of business and professional skills training to its portfolio with the acquisition of MindLeaders, a US elearning company founded in 1981. MindLeaders recently created an integrated elearning and talent management platform – a solution which Brendan says “is a global first that drives business performance because it actually develops employees.”
Janet Garcia, UK and International Director, says that the name MindLeaders “represents the coming together of thirty years of expertise. Every year our platforms and unique learning support services contribute to millions of personal learning journeys across four continents.”
“So this brand and vision are a real reflection of our company values,” she continues, “MindLeaders is a company driven by people who are committed to delivering results with honesty and integrity. These values benefit both the clients and learners we aim to serve. We take enormous pride in the positive impact our products have on the lives of individual learners.”
The official launch will take place at the Learning Technologies Conference on the 25th- 26th January in London.
