E-learning Course for Disability Discrimination Awareness
Disability Discrimination Awareness (DDA) delivers the training required under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 for all staff working in the care sector. It covers the legislation of all three parts of the Act and any amendments since 1st October 2004. This induction level course aims to give learners the awareness, knowledge, skills and confidence required to meet or exceed the expectations of all customers and colleagues, including those with any type of disability, treating all with the same courtesy and respect.
The DDA course offers a host of benefits and features:
- Reduces (or eliminates) the risk of disability discrimination complaints at sites and legal action cases.
- Delivers cost effective induction training to a consistent standard.
- Improves staff training which leads to better audits and inspections from officers and a higher level of customer service.
- Overcomes barriers to using e-learning in the workplace by using our tablet PC, the el-box™ which provides a fun and easy platform for learning.
