E-learning Solution for Health and Social Care NVQ Level 2

Skills Suite for NVQ2 is our complete solution for the delivery of the Health and Social Care NVQ to employees who are geographically dispersed over multiple sites. It could save you time and money, and enable you to develop your workforce and work towards the targets set in the National Minimum Standards.

Skills Suite for NVQ2 consists of e-learning content and an e-portfolio which are seamlessly integrated. With versions for both residential care and domiciliary care, it is the natural training progression from our hugely popular Common Induction Standards (CIS) e-learning course.

Course Contents

Four core units and two optional units are required to achieve the NVQ Level 2. The optional units are chosen from a selection according to the learner’s workplace and job role. Each unit contains 1-2 hours of learning content and covers all the underpinning knowledge for each NVQ unit.

Core units:

• Communicate with and complete records for individuals
• Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals
• Develop your knowledge and practice
• Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well-being of individuals

Optional units:

• Provide food and drink for individuals
• Support individuals with their personal care needs
• Contribute to moving and handling individuals
• Support individuals to meet their domestic and personal needs
